Boko Haram Logistics Base Has Been Destroyed - NAF


A Nigerian Air Force’s Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has destroyed a logistics base used by members of the Boko Haram Terrorists group, the air force said in a statement Tuesday.

The UAV was on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) mission when it came across the gathering of BHTs at Garin Moloma, about one kilometre north of the Sambisa Forest, spokesperson Ayodele Famuyiwa, a group captain, said.

Rep Member Calls For Re-opening Of Banks In Potiskum


Hon Sabo Garbu, the chairman, House Committee on Chad Basin Development Authority, who represents Potiskum/Nangere federal constituency of Yobe State has called for the re-opening of eight commercial banks shut down in the last four years after series of attacks by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Potiskum, Yobe State.

Brono State People Return Home from Boko Haram Exile!



Two years ago, Boko Haram insurgents invaded the border town of Gomboru Ngala between Nigerian and Cameron about two years ago, killing over 50,000 residents and forcing more out of their homes either to Cameroon or Maiduguri and Adamawa state.

About 7, 000 of Gomboru Ngala residents of Borno State Nigeria have returned home from their exile, according to the Local Government Chairmnan, Hon. Abdulrahman Abdulkarim who disclosed this to journalists on Saturday in Maiduguri.

BORNO HUNTERS BEG ARMY: ALLOW US TO OVER-RUN BOKO HARAM IN SAMBISA



Borno State hunters have appealed to the Nigerian Army to allow them join in the war against Boko Haram insurgents in the dreaded Sambisa forest.

Emir of hunters in the state, Mai-Gana Mai-Durma, made the appeal while addressing journalists in Maiduguri.

Mai-Durma said the call became imperative because the hunters were familiar with the terrain at the dreaded forest, the hideout and operational base of the terrorists.
