Once the post editor is open, input the title of your post in the space provided and enter the content of your post in the big box below.

How to Add Images to Your Blog Post

Click on the "insert image" icon below the title bar (figure 1 from the image above) to add images to your blog.

Images are a good feature for every blog, it helps you express a topic in a way that your readers will better understand.

I advice you add images to every of your blog post.

How to Add Jump Cut [Read More] to Your Blog Post

Your blog should be organised at all time, you can keep your blog organised by adding a read more link and breaking your blog post to avoid covering your blog with one post.

To add a jump cut to your article, click on the "insert jump break" icon below the title bar (figure 2 in the above image).

I recommend you add a jump cut / jump break / read more after two or three paragraphs.

How to Format Headings in Your Blog Post

There is something called Search Engine Optimization SEO, it allows you to improve the performance of your blog and how you are able to appear on search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.

Formatting text that are important on your blog will be your blog post more readable and find-able on search engines.

To mark any text as important, highlight the text and click on the drop-down that has Normal written on it (Figure 3 on the image above), then choose "Subheading" or "Minor heading" as may be applicable.

I think the title of your post is the heading so you should avoid using the "Heading"

How to Add links to Your Blog Post

Linking is one of the ways we connect our blog with the wider web and within our own blogs, there are times when you would want your blog readers to read other articles you have published in the past or simply link to other sites with more resources on the subject matter.

To add a link, highlight the text you want to link and click on the link icon below the title bar (Figure on the image above), once you click on the button you will see a pop-up providing space for you to add the link and and option of opening it in a new tag and making it a no follow link.

Good luck on your blogging adventure.
