It is the beginning of a new year and lot of people are out to look for a new job. Over the years, the searches for job listing spikes to its highest volume in the first month of the year.

Most of these job seekers have lost their jobs in the last year, some do not enjoy their current jobs, others have relocated to a new city but the bulk of them have got ambition.

There are cool reasons why people with ambition who enjoy their current job and position go out in pursue of new opportunities even if they do not need a new job.

Over ambition: Russia plans to build a superhighway that would drive from London to New York

The head of Russian Railways is asking the government to seriously consider his project dubbed the Trans-Eurasian Belt Development, the first modern transportation corridor that would link up the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean.

Plans call for the construction of a new high-speed railway and the development of major roads that would span the length of Russia, link up with existing transportation networks in Europe and Asia — and cross the Bering Strait.

The proposal was presented at a meeting of the Russian Academy of Science and was touted not only as a major transportation route, but as a means to create new cities and jobs in parts of Russia and Siberia that are woefully underdeveloped, and experience the hemorrhaging of young talent who leave the region for better opportunities abroad.
