Olamide, Don Jazzy and the Headies 2015 Next Rated Trash

I saw it coming...

The organizers of the Headings award always try to play the "nice guys" by robbing Peter to pay Paul.



Headies Awards are always open to offering "Special Recognition" to the big shoulders in the industry. If this trend is not changed, The Headies will lose every prestige it ever had.

I may not understand The Headies criteria for selecting, nominating and awarding their award (Next Rated).

I am not a fan of Lil Kesh or Reekado Banks as I consider the music childish to my sense of music, but truth be told, I get tuned up by Lil Kesh's music and considered him to be the MVP New Art of 2015.

I can't remember how many times I head Reekado Banks's music in clubs, even though I don't like Lil Kesh, his jams gets me up in the club (I like to sit and club).

Music have united Nigerians more than football or anything you can think of, Hip Hop World Magazine started something good by recognizing the effort of Nigerian Musicians, but they should not spoil what they started by playing the nice guys.

I have respect for both Don Jazzy and Olamide, they have both contributed to the growth of the Nigerian Music Industry.

To answer the question of who started the new year feud between Don Jazzy and Olamide? l will say it is Don Jazzy.

My reason? Olamide was hurting by the result of the Next Rated Award, he did not transfer his aggression to Don Jazzy or The Supreme Mavin Dynasty, he spoke directly to Hip Hop World Magazine and his fans in the building with a sense of honesty and respect without calling name.

Don Jazzy on the other was not mature enough to address the situation by addressing the organizers and his fans with pointers to why Reekado Banks deserves the award, instead, he started a feud by calling Olamide out.

I don't want to go into the Next Rated Trashing on Twitter and the f**k up apology that followed, I think Don Jazzy should apologies to Olamide for calling him out and insulting the YBNL Family with the car statement.

My people, if you think am wrong in my opinion, let me know who you think started this new year feud.
